"SLEEPING SISTERS"
This portrait represents three sisters. These sisters are very similar in looks. At the time of this portrait: one sister had a Persian cat she loved...shown laying on her lap; the second sister had a small Pekingese as her pet, snuggled at her feet; and the third sister had no pets, however, she had two young daughters- one blonde and one brunette...shown as dolls beside her. I went on and turned this into a "family portrait". Faintly painted into the background is a doorway, with the figures of a man and woman...their Mother and Father.

This pet portrait was commissioned after the pet passed away. The owner wanted a portrait of her standard poodle in Christ's arms.

Grandmother's portrait.
This portrait was taken from an old faded photograph. The picture was taken when she was 19 years old.

Portrait of the family pets.
"Alabama Home"
This pet portrait was commissioned by a couple with three dogs. The dogs are shown behind the house, which overlooks a valley. Up in the left corner a bit of the house is shown. The dogs loved to roam in the wooded back area, among the rocks and along the cliffs.
"Haile Homestead: Dixie & Brewster"
A pet portrait commissioned by a couple who had just built a home in the mountains. They wanted their pets, and their home in the painting.
